“My name is Juliann Seeley and I am a sophomore at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. For the first thirteen years of my life I lived all over the place; My parents were both active duty in the Army. Growing up as an Army Brat was an experience I will forever be grateful for as it gave me a number of invaluable life lessons. I hope to one day attend medical school to become an Emergency Medicine Physician, and through scholarships such as this one, I am able to work towards that goal without as much financial burden.”

 

Thank you so much for the opportunity that you have given me by being able to apply for this scholarship. My parents are some of my most significant role models in life, and I strive every day to make them just as proud of me as I am of them. My parent’s dedication to the United States Army, along with the other roles that they serve, has given me a clear path toward becoming an emergency medicine physician, a career that is not easily attained.
